Bio: Born into a family of artists in 1958 in Richmond, CA . I had my first solo show of line drawings at the age of 13 at the Richmond Art center. I dropped out of the College of Arts and Crafts in 1982. I have happily explored, exhibited and won awards in many media through out my life and so far tin takes the cake. I grew up in California, lived in Mexico and nearly died in Seattle.
Artist Statement: Repurposing used tin food containers into collages is my passion. I collect the tin from various places, clean and flatten the tin and then cut it up and nail it to plywood to create a narrative.
