Inspired by outsider artists who create by intuition, Steffanie's paintings are multi-layered, complex, and inviting. Her process both conceals and reveals fragments in a multi-layered process, engaging the viewer’s own sense of meaning and exploration. Through layers of paint that both conceal and reveal, I create visual poems that invite viewers to enter the space between what was and what will be. The result is a celebration of random synchronicities that pay tribute to the imagination... both yours and mine.
