The WSA jury process asks hosts to set a high bar for the tour with artwork and the site from which you will be hosting.

Artwork: Applications that display original thought, excellence in craftsmanship, and consistency of style will be given a high priority. Please demonstrate a strong overall concept. Show through your application images that you have great images of your work to help promote the tour!
Site: The setting you showcase yourself and guest artists must fall with in the boundaries set by the tour. And it must also comfortably display three artists… . This means a great space, lighting, and hospitality.
Guest Artists: In your application please name five artists your would invite to the tour with their website URL’s. We are looking for hosts who have thought this through and will select working artists with a strong following, excellent artwork, and a desire to build our WSA Tour Presence.
Participation: Meeting the requests to the right is a consideration in your re-application each year. Please be prepared to gather, coordinate, and promote the tour and your invited guests.
Accepted Hosts Will:
Pay $50 to the WSA for website/ promotional/ organizational costs
Receive 15% of all Artists Sales (taken at central checkout)
Invite at least two artists to participate at each stop on the tour
Be Within the tour boundaries:
West of Hwy. 99/509 and North of Hwy. 518
Most of West Seattle, White Center, Burien
Promote your invited artists via your IG, FB, Website, and Newsletter
Promote the WSA Tour via the avenues listed above
Coordinate with invited artists to set up the space for the tour
Studio host provides refreshments: Such as - Veggie tray dip. cookie
tray, finger foods, BBQ pork, (finger foods of choice) wine, water, juice/ soda.
Hosts help with lighting, display materials, have an accessible public bathroom suitable for all.
Hosts will be the central cashier
Hosts will pay artists within two weeks after the finish of the tour
Honorably promote all the stops to the betterment of the whole tour
Take on one major part of organizing the tour
Hold the same hours as the other stops
Promote with West Side Artist Logo signs
Provide significant signage and a large cluster of red balloons
Promote on personal newsletter and social media avenues and website
Collect visitors emails during the event for the West Side Artist's mailing list
